2 weeks USA!

Here we go again! When I heard the US borders were finally opening again for Europeans in November 2021 I couldn't wait to check the flights and contact my host family in Philly. (I was an Au Pair here for 1,5 year). I had been looking forward to surprise the kids one day ever since I got back home last year in March. I was still working in Ibiza when I heard the great news about the cancelled travel ban, but I booked my flight as soon as my host parents confirmed I could come to visit them. I was also invited to celebrate thanksgiving with my host mom's family and I was so glad and thankful to be able to see everyone again finally! What an amazing trip I had! I still can't believe I saw all of them again after not seeing each other for 8 months! The kids have grown so much in this time and I was so excited to surprise them! Work in Spain June 2021 - Nov. 2021

BEST SUMMER EVER! 4 months in Spain. Doesn't that sound good? Well, I can tell it was absolutely AMAZING! But it was definitely not my plan in the first place. I was actually supposed to work for TUI as an entertainer for a hotel in Crete this Summer. Due to several things I figured out and heard from others, I canceled everything last minute. The day before my flight to Crete. I was so upset and cried most of that day. I had packed al my stuff already, had my covid test and got my vaccine and I had a goodbye party for all my friends already. I also quit my job for this job so I didn't know what to do. Later in the afternoon I reset my mind finally. I decided to just book a random flight to somewhere in Spain and go look for a job there. I decided to fly to Malaga and booked a B&B for 2 nights to be able to contact some companies etc. When I came downstairs to tell my family they were so happy and proud of me! I felt so relieved they were totally fine with me taking a risk
